Honda CB300F vs BMW G 310 R: Know the difference between the price, features and power of these two powerful bikes

Honda’s latest launch for the Indian market is the new CB300F, which is a naked streetfighter. The manufacturer also has the CB300R in its line-up but the CB300F is an all-new product aimed at attracting the youth. The BMW G 310 R is also available in the Indian market which is a roadster and competes with Honda.

Here we are telling you how the new CB300F competes with the BMW G 310 R. The CB300F motorcycle seems to be a muscular version of the Hornet 2.0. According to the report, this can be a good thing as well as a bad thing. The Hornet 2.0 is a good looking motorcycle. However, Honda has not made any significant changes in the design to make the

CB300F stand out in the traffic. The motorcycle has an LED headlamp at the front, a muscular fuel tank with tank shroud and a sleek rear section with thick tires. The BMW looks different on the road due to its livery and no other bike has a livery like this. Sporty design, sleek headlamp and tail lamp, minimal body panels and a muscular fuel tank also make its look more attractive. The most special thing about this motorcycle is its alloy wheels which are red in color.

The Honda CB300F gets a new 293 cc, oil-cooled engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 23.8 bhp and a peak torque of 25.6 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch. It is designed to deliver most of its torque at the lower end of the rev range. At the same time, the BMW G 310 R comes with a 313 cc, oil-cooled engine which is also used in the TVS Apache RR 310 and BMW G 310 RR. This engine generates a maximum power of 33.52 bhp and a peak torque of 28 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.

Both motorcycles come with LED headlamps with LED daytime running lamps, full digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS. Honda is also equipped with traction control, Bluetooth connectivity and 5-step adjustable brightness for the instrument cluster. Both motorcycles have USD forks at the front and monoshock at the rear.

For braking, disc brakes have been given in both front and rear. Even the size of the tires of both motorcycles is the same. The front one is named 110/70 while the rear one is 150/60. Honda CB300F is offered in two variants DLX and DLX Pro. DLX is priced at Rs 2.26 lakh and DLX Pro is priced at Rs 2.29 lakh. While the BMW G 310 R is priced at Rs 2.70 lakh.
